About the Southwest Partnership
The Southwest Partnership is a coalition of seven neighborhood associations and six anchor institutions in the following areas of Southwest Baltimore: Barre Circle, Franklin Square, Hollins Roundhouse, Mount Clare, Pigtown, Poppleton, and Union Square.
The work of the SWP is done through six Program Committees: Commercial Development, Education and Workforce Development, Historic Preservation, Housing, Public Safety, and Safe, Vibrant, and Walkable Streets. The Committees meet monthly and are open to the public and community led.
The member organizations are: the Barre Circle Community Association, the Hollins Roundhouse Neighborhood Association, the Franklin Square Neighborhood Association, the Mount Clare Community Council, Citizens of Pigtown, Poppleton NOW!, the Union Square Association, the B&O Railroad Museum, Bon Secours Baltimore Health System, the University of Maryland Baltimore, the University of Maryland BioPark, the University of Maryland Medical Center, and Wexford Science and Technology.
