From New Carrollton Station
Travel West on Rt. 50. Take the first exit (410 West/Riverdale Rd.). Go past the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Route 201 until you see Route 1 (Rhode Island Avenue). Take Route 1 North. The campus will be on the left. Follow directions below from Route 1.

From BWI Airport
Take 95 West to 295 South (Baltimore-Washington Parkway). Cross the Capitol Beltway (495) and proceed to Route 410 (Riverdale Road). Go West on 410 to Route 1 North to College Park. The campus will be on your left. Follow the directions below from Route 1.

From Washington DC / Reagan National Airport
There are several options ?all leading to Rhode Island Avenue (Route 1) in the District. To see the National Mall, take the 14th Street Bridge into Washington, DC, and head East towards the Capitol on Constitution Avenue. Take North Capital Street (North) to Rhode Island Avenue (which is Route 1) to College Park. Alternately, take 14th Street North to Rhode Island Avenue (Route 1) North to College Park. The campus will be on your left. Follow the directions below from Route 1.

From Points North and South
From points North and South: Take Interstate 95 to the Capitol Beltway (95/495) to Maryland Exit 25 (Route 1, College Park). Head South on Route 1 for about 2 miles. The campus will be on your right. Follow the directions immediately below to get to the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Please note that southbound traffic on Route 1 towards the campus is extremely heavy during morning rush hour.

From Route 1
Make a right onto Campus Drive (main entrance). Proceed to the campus traffic circle and the "M". Head uphill from the traffic circle on Campus Drive going through three stop signs. Stamp Student Union will be on your right. After the third stop sign, follow Campus Drive as it curves to the left. At the next stop sign, Campus Drive turns into Preinkert Drive. Continue straight to a stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Before you will be a new parking garage. Turn left and bear around to the right to the garage entrance and park there. When you walk out of the parking garage, turn to the left toward the School of Business until you see a narrow service lane heading up the hill directly to the back of Preinkert Field House. Follow that service road to an entrance at the top of a set of treated lumber stairs. Once inside, turn left and you will see the National Center for Smart Growth offices at the end of the hall, Suite 1112.
